<p>For Rolex lovers the Air-King needs no introduction. Long established as the watch that most Rolex enthusiasts longed to begin their watch collection with due to its entry level price tag- the Air-King is one of the the simplest/least complicated movements in the Rolex collection.</p><p> Its appeal aesthetically has built a huge fan base and a huge demand as a result. Design wise, there are no rotating bezels or date functions; no tachymeter scales or moonphase pointers but there are ALL of the incredible things that you expect from Rolex. Accuracy, Design and reliability. </p><p> The Air-King 126900 replaced the 116900 in 2022, and it delivered a few notable updates that alter the way the Air-King wears and performs. In true Rolex fashion, it’s not about revolutionary changes more tweaks and improvements. Some of the changes are: Rolex has equipped the 126900 with crown guards. The Oyster case is also slightly flatter and slimmer. Second, we notice that a “0” before the 5-minute marker for better balance with the rest of the two-digit minute markers. Additionally, the hour markers at 3, 6, and 9 are now coated with Chromalight luminescent material so they can also glow in the dark. The last adjust to the dial is the addition of the crown logo between SWISS and MADE, just below the 6 o’clock marker. </p><p> The presence of that small crown logo signals a new movement inside the Air-King 126900, which is the Caliber 3230. Part of Rolex’s newest generation of movements, the Caliber 3230 is the time-only (no date) variant of the much respected Caliber 3235 that can be found in models such as the prestigious Submariner. The Cal. 3230 is COSC certified, accurate to +/-2 seconds per day, and supplies the Air-King 126900 with 70 hours of power reserve. </p><p> Finally, another new update that the Air-King 126900 benefits from is a revamped Oyster bracelet; the addition of the sturdy folding Oysterlock safety clasp, complete with the Easylink 5mm extension system is a big build from Rolex. </p><p> We look forward to answering any questions you might have about this fabulously stylish and stand out Rolex. </p><p> The scope of the sale includes watch, inner box, outer box, both booklets, Papers (Dated May 2023), paper holders and original receipt. </p>
