Just serviced and ready for sale, this K serial Rolex DateJust 16220 with box, papers and extras. The 16220 is known for its robust stainless steel engine-turned bezel; the bezel is considered by many as being a hybrid between the fluted and smooth bezel but we think it deserves its own category as it is not directly comparable to either the fluted or the smooth bezel. This watch boasts a dial that is equal parts eye-catching and stylish but more importantly rare and sought after. The dial in ivory with arabic style numbers is truly special but on closer inspection you can see that it is not a flat ivory colour finish it is detailed more richly. The Jubilee dial, also known as the anniversary dial, features a repetitive ‘ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX’ pattern engraved on the entire surface of the dial – similar to a monogram Louis Vuitton bag.
