Always check in the morning that your crown hasn't become unscrewed overnight. If it has simply screw it closed.

- Assess the performance: Spend a little time checking to see how your watch is performing-measure the accuracy of your watch against the accuracy that Rolex outlined for the model in question. Is the accuracy within the agreed limits? If it isn't it might be a good idea to consider Servicing your rolex

Check your power reserve- Each Rolex automatic watch comes with an internal time frame where by it can keep your watch powered without harnesssing the movement of your wrist. Refer to your paperwork to see what your should expect your power reserve to be and test to see where it is against it.

If your watches performance starts to deteriorate send it for servicing immediately.

If you knock your watch and crack the crystal consider the waterproofing compromsied and talk to service specialist about replacing the crystal.
- Prolonged salt water exposure - Salt water can be corrosive and damaging-we recommend rinsing your watch in fresh water after your watch has been in salt water
- High impact sports - if you wear your rolex during continous impact or severe impact sports there is a real danger of damaging the movemement of your watch. We recommend leaving your watch in a secure location when you are going to play:
I have left many sports off this list, sports that wearing watches in isn't permitted in- e.g. boxing, Rugby, Wrestling, etc - Wearing your watch during these would be as disasterous for your opponents as your watch.
